Dain N. DeVeny – Experienced Representation With Home-Town Ties

My name is Dain N. DeVeny, and I've lived in Ohio my entire life. I graduated from high school in Kettering and now live in Centerville with my wife. After receiving my Bachelor of Science from Miami University in Ohio and then my Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1974, I served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Greene County in Ohio, as well as an assistant attorney general for the state of Ohio and the law director of the Greene County Legal Aid Society.

My past experience in the legal community has made me well-versed in many areas of the law and has given me the skills I need to effectively address any legal issue I'm presented with. I've been practicing law now for more than 30 years, with much of that time spent in the area of family law. I know how sensitive family law cases can be and I know how to handle them with the right balance of compassion and tenacity.

Providing Legal Advice For More Than 30 Years

Whether you're facing a divorce or dissolution, bickering over marital property, or trying to work out an amicable child custody arrangement, you probably feel like you're fighting a losing battle. My goal as a family law attorney is to help you and your family through these challenges. I want you to have hope that a favorable resolution can be found and that you're in control of the situation.

I will never promise what I can't deliver or make you believe your expectations are possible if they are not allowed by the law. If your family law issue can result in a settlement, I will try for that. If your case needs to go to trial, I'm comfortable trying your case in front of a judge and am permitted to do so in any court in Ohio.
